Proving the World Wrong: How Odesa’s Design Studio is Putting the City on the Map
It’s frustrating when Odesa is considered a provincial, neglected city. The only way to prove the world wrong about us is to do our work well.
We are not politicians, we are interior designers. We can’t hold debates or speak loudly – we take our revenge at the workbench. Words won’t attract investments and tourists, but good establishments will.
We are immensely pleased and proud that the second project of our studio in Odesa in a year has been published on the most authoritative architectural websites in the world. First, the Breadway bakery, and now the Daily coffee shop has been featured in publications followed by millions of readers – Archdaily, Elle Decoration Russia, Interiors.ru, Dezeen, and others, as well as being selected as editors’ picks and featured on the homepages of Archilovers and Archello.
When an establishment is valued by visitors and recognized by international publications, it’s the best award for the team that worked on the project for almost a year. And it’s incredibly gratifying when your work helps your city.
