This Harlem brownstone is located near Central Park in New York. The big problem with these houses is that it is hard to make a layout change without destroying half of the building. The main goal here was to stay within the layout we had and change the overall look of the interior.
The living room is a perfect combination of mid-century modern and industrial flair. With a black leather sofa anchoring it with some bold artwork, a unique rug, and abundant natural light from a large window, this room settles in well with earthy tones and vintage furniture that makes it stylish and inviting.
Light wood finishes and a sculptural light fixture with elegance set a mark of sophistication in the dining room. Modern dining table complements dining chairs that boast a rich texture with clean lines and a hint of vintage inspiration, making it an ideal hangout for entertainment.
The bedroom, with its dark striped wallpaper and deep green headboard, is an especially cozy, luxurious retreat; soft brown carpeting warms the space, while metal poufs by Tacchini introduce a sleek industrial note.
The earthy palette of the bathroom is carried through, with an earthy ambiance enhanced by the warm lighting. The marble countertop with a curved vanity creates an elevated rustic feature; a modern, orange sink and toilet make the space contemporary.
This design blends urban sophistication with cozy elegance to make it an ideal place for inspiration. Seamless use of texture, color, and form creates a unified and welcoming home.
